Welcome to WyrdTale. By using this service, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
WyrdTale is an AI-powered text-based RPG engine. The service provides game mechanics, world-building tools, and narrative prompts through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
2. Intellectual Property
The following are proprietary and owned by WyrdTale:
- All prompts, guidance text, and narrative templates exposed through MCP tools
- The game engine architecture and tool designs
- Stage prompts, entity guidance, and world-building frameworks
You may not copy, reproduce, or use our prompts, guidance text, or narrative frameworks for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to: creating competing products, selling derivative works, or incorporating them into commercial applications.
3. Permitted Use
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Use the service for personal, non-commercial gameplay
- Create and share game content (worlds, characters, stories) you generate during play
Your game saves, characters, and stories belong to you. We claim no ownership over content you create during gameplay.
4. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use our prompts or frameworks to create commercial products or services
- Systematically extract, copy, or scrape our proprietary content
- Resell or redistribute access to the service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the service for commercial purposes
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws
5. Service Availability
WyrdTale is provided "as is" without warranty. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We are not liable for any loss of game data or interruption of service.
6. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly regarding commercial misuse of our intellectual property.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
