This policy explains what data WyrdTale collects and how we use it.
Account Information: When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and any profile information you provide. We receive a unique user ID from Clerk to identify your account.
Game Data: We store your game saves, including worlds, characters, items, and other game content you create.
Usage Data: We may log basic request information (timestamps, errors) for debugging and service improvement.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Clerk: Handles authentication. See Clerk's Privacy Policy.
AI Providers: Your gameplay occurs through AI services (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) that you connect separately. Your conversations with those services are governed by their privacy policies, not ours.
Game saves are stored on our servers, associated with your Clerk user ID. Data is stored in the European Union (Germany/Finland).
We retain your game data as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your game saves within 30 days.

We use HTTPS encryption for all connections. Authentication is handled by Clerk's secure infrastructure. However, no system is perfectly secure.
This service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
